Here’s the second installment in a series I’m producing for St. Jude about Adam’s Army, a team of supporters (led by a St. Jude patient) and their efforts to raise $1 million for the hospital. In this episode, Adam travels to Nashville for the Rock ‘n’ Roll half marathon.
Adam was diagnosed with leukemia in July 2014 and was treated at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In 2015 he formed Adam’s Army, determined to give back to the hospital that saved his life. Since that time, Adam’s Army has raised $700,000 for St. Jude and the team is working to reach the $1 million mark by the St. Jude Memphis Marathon in December 2019. This is the launch video I shot and edited to promote the start of this push to $1 million. You can learn more about Adam’s story at AdamsArmy.net.
I recently shot and edited a video for the St. Jude collegiate program, Up ‘Til Dawn. The partner needed a recruitment video to encourage students to get involved by signing up to be a part of the Up ‘Til Dawn student executive leadership board on their campus.
I shot and edited the following video to promote the St. Jude Hero fitness program. St. Jude Heroes are athletes who raise money for the hospital as they train for various events throughout the year. This piece follows Millie, a marathoner who was the first Memphian to run in the BMW Berlin Marathon.
