This Gamer Is Fighting For His Life

Tyler loves to play video games, and he usually wins. In fact, his mom predicts that one day, Tyler will be a professional gamer or game designer. But right now, this gamer is in a fight against leukemia.

This is a patient story I shot and edited for St. Jude. We captured the intro segment and mom's interview in one day. One of the other shooters on our team captured the footage of Tyler during his clinical appointments. During the edit, I drew from our video archive to flesh out the b-roll.

Tyler's story was used to promote this year's St. Jude Math-a-Thon and St. Jude PlayLive programs.
