The official poster for my upcoming short film Hangry has been released. I’m currently in post-production and will be delivering a rough cut to the Memphis Film Prize on June 12. If Hangry is selected to the Top 10, it will screen along with the other nine finalists during the first weekend of August. In the meantime, be sure to Follow on Twitter and Like the official Facebook page to stay up to date.
Adam was diagnosed with leukemia in July 2014 and was treated at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In 2015 he formed Adam’s Army, determined to give back to the hospital that saved his life. Since that time, Adam’s Army has raised $700,000 for St. Jude and the team is working to reach the $1 million mark by the St. Jude Memphis Marathon in December 2019. This is the launch video I shot and edited to promote the start of this push to $1 million. You can learn more about Adam’s story at AdamsArmy.net.
Right now I’m in pre-production on a new short film that I’ll be directing for The Memphis Film Prize. Hangry is a comedy about one elderly man’s attempt to right a lunchtime wrong. The shoot is scheduled for May 4-5 in Collierville, TN. In addition to an actor to play the main role of The Reverend, I will need extras to portray staff and residents of the nursing home location. I recently shot and edited a video for the St. Jude collegiate program, Up ‘Til Dawn. The partner needed a recruitment video to encourage students to get involved by signing up to be a part of the Up ‘Til Dawn student executive leadership board on their campus.
